David Langford is helping to clean the oceans by wearing The Ocean Cleanup sunglasses
My contribution is helping turn a problem into a solution
What you folks are doing is truly worthwhile and you should all be proud. Glad to help out. Keep moving forward; don't give up!
I am part of the mission
Our mission is to rid the oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup sunglasses are made with plastic caught in the patch during the System 001/B campaign in 2019. With this pair of sunglasses, I’m helping us use this plastic to catch more plastic.
My personal Impact
100% of the proceeds from these sunglasses will go directly to continued cleanup operations, enabling the cleanup of an area equivalent to 24 football fields of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
The plastic in my frames
Here’s a video of the campaign that brought this first plastic to shore, the same ocean plastic which was certified from DNV GL and the same plastic which is used in the frames of my The Ocean CleanupTM sunglasses.

Join me and The Ocean Cleanup going Full Circle
Each pair equates to cleaning an area the size of 24 football fields in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. I contributed so they can reach their goal of cleaning 500,000 football fields worth of ocean. Do you want to join me in the largest cleanup in history?
